We are active members in our community which includes; making donations, hosting events in our space, and teaching workshops locally.
Workshop: Reed College Native Flowers
We arrived at Reed College with all of our supplies and spent the evening with students and staff talking about; the importance of native flowers, how to make a bouquet, and then let our creativity flow as each participant made a stunning floral arrangement with farm fresh flowers. All supplies were provided by us and each participant got to bring home a vase with their flowers as well as specially designed for this event coupons and gifts.
Hosting: Seeds of Solace
A ticketed after-hours event that was offered to our community in collaboration with Death Doula Does. Seeds of Solace was an evening of seed bomb-making. In these two 45-minute sessions with the community, we explored the grief we hold individually and collectively.
Pop-up: Camp Kramer
We spent an evening assembling custom charm bracelets or necklaces with Camp Kramer. Customers could swing by and create a piece to take home with them and shop the store after hours.
